Year 9 Assembly

24th January 2022

In line with this term’s topic of Cultural Capital, Year 9 talked about staple foods from different parts of the world and how important it is for us to try different foods. We researched staple foods from Asia, north and south America, Africa, and Europe.

We had so much fun baking, cooking and frying different types of foods to display in the assembly. We baked a chocolate cake, made some hummus and tofu, cooked some pilau and boiled then baked some octopus. We got to enjoy sampling all these foods and they were DELICIOUS!
