Year 6 Leavers' Assembly

7th July 2022

Year 6 finally got their chance to say their goodbyes on Monday and Tuesday this week; firstly to Years 4,5 and their parents, then to Years 1,2 and 3.

They talked about the importance of being a TEAM- Together Everyone Achieves More- and then shared some of their highlights from our recent residential trip to Savage Wilderness in Sagana. They went on to reminisce about their memorable moments from Primary school and talked about what they would miss. Looking forward, they commented on all the exciting things they are looking forward to- new friends, new teachers, new challenges. The show finished with a performance of the reimagined version of “This is Me”, with a special mention of Ms. Jones who, sadly, could not be with us for this performance, although she sent Year 6 a very special video message before they performed. Parents, staff and children, THANK YOU so much for all the love, encouragement and support you have given Year 6 throughout their Primary years. Year 6, we will miss you in Primary and wish you every success in the next exciting chapter that is just about to begin…
