Year 4 Mida Creek Trip

18th November 2022

Year 4 children went on a very exciting day trip to Mida Creek last week. The trip was linked to our ‘Living things and habitats’ Science topic and also ‘Coastal Features’ which was our topic in Geography last half of term.

We had an amazing time on the nature walk, as we looked at the flora and fauna in the area and learned interesting facts about crabs and other creatures on the creek. The boardwalk was the real test of courage for some of the children. There was an amazing display of friendship and team spirit as those who made it to the end first cheered on the rest. We also enjoyed a short trip in dugout canoes which was a memorable experience.

The children had lots of stories to tell on our way back to school!
