Year 2 Trip to Nguuni.

11th November 2022

The Year 2’s visited the Nguuni nature sanctuary in Bamburi on Thursday this week where we had a fantastic time interacting with the various animals inside the wildlife sanctuary. We had an opportunity to see lots of giraffes, some antelopes, an ostrich, tortoises, ducks, fish and some very active guinea fowls. We also took in the nature around us by visiting some of the ponds located in the property where beautiful water lilies were aplenty!

“My favourite part of the trip was when the ostrich kept close to us all the time, especially when we were eating. I thought the giraffes and the ostrich were going to fight when they kept looking at each other.” Adam Yr 2

“I really liked the ostrich as it was always following us.” Audryne Yr 2

“I really enjoyed all the animals running around and the giraffes eating.” Willa Yr 2
