The MCSA Swimming Gala was a triumph for our school, with ten outstanding students making waves and achieving remarkable success in the pool. Matis, Aiden, Denis, Nicole, Clara, Ciara, Ernest, Sienna, Ivana, and Natalie showcased their talent and determination, each earning podium finishes and an impressive collection of medals.

Matis led the charge with an impressive six medals, followed closely by Aiden and Nicole with five and seven medals, respectively. Clara's exceptional performance earned her a total of ten medals, while Ciara and Sienna both secured eight and seven medals, respectively. Ernest, Ivana, and Natalie also contributed to our success with one, one, and three medals each.

Braeburn swimming Club was ranked 4th position overall with 15 gold medals, 16 silver medals and 10 bronze medals.

Their achievements are a testament to their hard work and dedication, as well as the support of our coaching staff and the school community.

Congratulations to Matis, Aiden, Denis, Nicole, Clara, Ciara, Ernest, Sienna, Ivana, and Natalie on their outstanding achievements at the MCSA Swimming Gala. We are incredibly proud of their success and look forward to seeing them continue to excel in the pool.

Secondary Inter House Swimming gala

The Secondary Inter House Swimming Gala, held on Thursday of Week 9, was a thrilling event filled with incredible displays of skill and sportsmanship. The gala saw a fantastic turnout of students, all eager to compete for their houses - Kifaru, Simba, and Chui.

What made this gala even more special was the unprecedented tie for first place between Simba and Kifaru houses! This remarkable feat showcases the determination and talent of our students, as they pushed themselves to the limit in pursuit of victory. Chui house also put up a strong performance, taking a well-deserved third place.

The atmosphere at the gala was electric, with students cheering on their housemates and displaying exceptional teamwork and spirit. The dedication and hard work of each swimmer were evident, with many achieving personal bests and demonstrating remarkable improvement.

We would like to extend a heartfelt congratulation to all the students who participated in the gala. Your commitment and sportsmanship made the event a true success. A big thank you also goes out to the organisers, supporters, and staff who worked tirelessly to ensure the gala ran smoothly.

Primary Inter house swimming gala

The Primary Inter House Swimming Gala on Friday of Week 9 was an absolute delight, with a fantastic turnout of enthusiastic students ready to showcase their swimming skills. The event was divided into two categories: KS1 and KS2, each displaying remarkable talent and sportsmanship.

KS1 students kicked off the gala with an impressive display of swimming strokes and teamwork in the relays. Their enthusiasm set the tone for the rest of the day, creating an atmosphere of excitement and friendly competition.

In KS2, students from Kifaru, Simba, and Chui houses competed fiercely, demonstrating exceptional skill and determination in the pool. The races were intense, with each swimmer giving their all to secure points for their house.

In an exciting turn of events, Chui House emerged victorious, scoring an impressive 551 points. Kifaru House and Simba House followed closely behind, securing second and third place with 387 and 311 points, respectively. It was a thrilling competition that showcased the incredible talent and dedication of our primary students.

A big congratulation to all the students who participated in the gala and made it a resounding success. Your hard work, sportsmanship, and determination were truly inspiring. Well done to everyone involved!
