Wednesday 6th July

7th July 2022

Congratulations to the Octopus Democratic Party, who won the Election held after the debate on Wednesday afternoon.

I was very impressed by all of the participants, ranging from Year 6 to Year 10.

There were excellent speakers from all parties and year groups.

In particular, the students on stage reacted very well during a question and answer session which required them to think on their feet.

Thank you to all of the parents who attended, the staff for their support and of course the students themselves.

Votes cast were as follows:

Perfect Primary Party (Y6) 132 votes

Equality Matters Party (Y7) 116 votes

Sovereign Egalitarian Party (Y8) 120 votes

Octopus Democratic Party (Y9) 170 votes

The People’s Future (Y10) 94 votes
