Leaners assessing their knowledge in Mathematics

As we return for the final term of this academic year it has already been a very busy start and our students have already sat all their external examinations for Mathematics. Year 11 joined us for some holiday IGCSE revision sessions before the rest of the classes even returned. Mathematics was, as a core subject, one the subjects offered alongside English and a variety of other subjects. The class sat their final paper on 4th May.

Year 9 sat their external Secondary Checkpoint examinations at the end of the first week of this term. This is a Cambridge examination designed to check their progress on the Mathematics topics covered over the whole of Key Stage 3 needed as prerequisite knowledge for the IGCSE course they will start next year.
