Key Stage 3 has made an excellent start to Term 3, with learning resuming on a notably high note. Students have returned with enthusiasm, focus and a strong readiness to engage, setting a very positive tone for the weeks ahead.
We are proud to celebrate Fatema’s outstanding achievement in the performing arts, as Braeburn Mombasa International School recognises her exceptional success in securing Second Position globally in the prestigious COBIS Drama Competition. This is a remarkable accomplishment and a wonderful reflection of the talent within our school community. We are equally pleased to recognise Jayson in Year 7, Aaryan and Nathaniel in Year 8, who will be representing the school in the Inter-Braeburn Chess Competition. We wish them every success as they compete.
Year 9 students have also begun the term with ambition and maturity as they engage with aspects of the KS4 curriculum early by attending their subject choice sessions made earlier in week 2.
Form time activities promise to be productive and engaging, with debates and a wider menu of form room activities designed to promote participation, confidence and student voice. We look forward to a highly successful and productive term ahead, filled with growth, achievement and meaningful learning experiences for all.
