Innovation, Imagination and Incredible Ideas!
What a fantastic display of creativity at our Invention Convention! From water filtration systems and an online tutoring company to fusion tea and even a wonderfully imaginative ‘Rabuphant’ – a hybrid rabbit, butterfly and elephant – our students amazed us with the breadth of their ideas.
Some students focused on solving real-world problems, others designed exciting forms of entertainment, including football trading cards starring their classmates, while others researched and celebrated famous inventions and inventors.
Two conversations particularly stood out. One student shared that their banana flour experiment hadn't worked. What a valuable lesson in the life of an inventor: not every attempt succeeds, but every setback teaches something and brings you one step closer to success. Another student, who created an online tutoring company concept, is now in discussions with an expert about turning the idea into a reality!
The day was a wonderful reminder that innovation begins with curiosity, courage and a willingness to try. We couldn't be prouder of our young inventors.
