EYFS News

28th April 2023

The EYFS children have begun term 3 on a journey around the world. To begin the term, we are learning about the different countries that children and adults come from in the Early Years. Through looking on maps, learning about flags, arts, craft, dancing and food, we will visit countries from as far away as New Zealand to our neighbouring country, Uganda.

As always, all adults are on the lookout for our next topic. We observe the children’s interests or let them vote on what our next topic will be.

We look forward to our trips this term, EYFS sports and family picnic day and towards the end of the term, our EYFS production.

The children were very happy to come back and see our beautiful sunflowers and to find that some of our tomatoes have turned red. We are looking forward to tasting them soon!

It has been a wonderful start to term 3 and I look forward to all the adventures that we will have this term.

Ms Marina

Head of Early Years
