EYFS News

2nd May 2026

This term in all EYFS classes, we’ve been "travelling" across the globe! The children are enjoying learning about the different counties we represent in the Early Years. From countries in Africa, Europe, Asia and Oceania. Over the term the children will look at the countries on the globe, explore art and food and learn some interesting facts.

Our indoor and outdoor "classrooms" have been a hive of activity. Our youngest children at BMIS have enjoyed construction play, creating with loose parts, making food in our home corners and mud kitchen, painting, catching frogs, jumping in puddles and enjoying our muddy areas.

As we move further into the term, we are incredibly proud of how well the children are navigating their learning journeys. Their independence is growing every day, and their kindness toward one another is heart-warming to see.

We look forward to a brilliant Term 3 filled with even more curiosity and growth. Thank you for your continued support in making our EYFS environment such a happy place to be!
