BMIS Swimming Team Update

25th October 2025

The Braeburn Mombasa International School swimming team has been making fantastic progress this academic year! Both class sessions and team training are going really well, with a growing number of enthusiastic swimmers joining the after-school training program.

  • Year 1: Our young swimmers are gaining confidence in deeper water while learning proper breathing techniques and body positioning.
  • Early Years: The little ones are happily building their water confidence in the baby pool through fun and engaging activities.
  • Primary Section: We are seeing great improvement in swimming techniques and confidence across all levels — every swimmer is progressing at their own pace and showing wonderful determination.
  • Secondary Section: The older students are really enjoying their swimming sessions! Many have shown a keen interest in joining the after-school training, recognising their current skill levels and feeling inspired to take on new challenges in the pool.
