Year 9 and 10 French

9th January 2026

Students in Year 9 and 10 worked on their writing skills collaboratively this week. The Year 9 students watched an authentic video showing the festive decorations in Nantes and described what they saw, starting by finding out the vocabulary needed and then writing descriptive sentences capturing their thoughts and feelings. The Year 10 students explored the theme of pollution following an IGCSE speaking question starter task. They watched an authentic video explaining the different types of pollution and wrote a summary of what they learnt and what they believe are the causes and consequences of pollution.
