Year 7 PSHCE - Puberty and Health

This half-term, Year 7 students delved into topics in PSHCE, focusing on puberty and health. They explored healthy routines and learnt about the significance of a balanced diet, regular exercise, sufficient sleep, and maintaining personal hygiene. Understanding the importance of these habits is a foundation for a healthy lifestyle that can significantly impact their physical and mental well-being.

Students moved on to understanding puberty and its impacts on health.

Discussions also centered around recognising and preventing unwanted contact, promoting positive body image, and fostering awareness of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Through engaging activities and open dialogue, students gained valuable insights crucial for their holistic development and well-being.
