Year 12 PSHE

4th July 2025

This half of term, Year 12 students explored the topic of Health and Safety through a variety of activities and discussions. They looked closely at different forms of health that include social, physical, and mental and how these are all linked. Students shared their own thoughts and experiences, showing a strong understanding of how good health in one area can support wellbeing in others.

The students also focused on digital safety and cyberbullying. They learned how to protect themselves online, keep their personal information private, and support others who may be affected by harmful behaviour on the internet. Discussions were thoughtful, and students showed good awareness of the challenges young people face in the digital world today.

The final lesson covered important practical safety topics, including road safety and basic first aid. Students took part in discussions about how to stay safe on the roads and what steps to take in emergency situations. They also researched simple first aid techniques. Across the four weeks, students were engaged, respectful and contributed insightful points to class activities.
