Welcome to the New Academic Year

4th September 2018

Term has started well at BMIS - the new staff and new pupils are settling well and the normal routines of school life emerge from hibernation once more. Existing staff and pupils also dust off their pencil cases and school bags and haul themselves away from those long, lazy lie-ins. It’s tough! But, we are underway again and we are all energised and optimistic about the opportunities the term holds.

I will keep this brief. The main point I want to make is that Braeburn Mombasa is built on values that we really do believe in – they are not just words on paper that we pay lip service to. Providing pupils with a well-rounded experience, with equal emphasis on academics, arts, sports and community service, so that we develop self-assured individuals who are caring, creative, confident learners, curious, courteous and community-spirited is our goal, and we hope you recognise some of these aspects of the school during your time with us.
