Visit from Mayotte Students

14 students from the French overseas region of Mayotte visited BMIS. They joined our secondary students of Year 9 to 13 for their morning lessons and lunch. The Maoré students arrived in Mombasa last Saturday for an exchange during which they discovered the Mombasa and Kenyan life, went on safari and attended lessons in all 6 pilot schools that signed the Memorandum Of Understanding with the French Embassy and Alliance Française.
It was amazing to see our students interact so easily with their peers, try (and succeed for some of them) to have spontaneous conversations in French and discover another culture.
