U16 Netball

24th May 2024

The U16 netball team showed remarkable dedication and hard work throughout their recent matches played on the Saturday of week 4 against other schools in the Coast International Schools League. The girls earned well-deserved recognition from the coaches from the other schools. The team demonstrated not only their skills on the court but also their unwavering commitment to growth and teamwork. Each game saw them pushing their limits, learning from their experiences, and coming back stronger.

Hendrika, playing as Goal Shooter (GS), stood out with her exemplary shooting skills. Her accuracy and strategic play were evident in securing crucial points for the team. Hendrika's performance was brilliantly complemented by the support of her teammates Clara, Natalie, and Lilly, who excelled in their attacking roles. Their coordinated efforts and dynamic plays kept the team’s momentum, making them a force against their opponents.

On the defensive side, the team grew increasingly stronger thanks to the outstanding contributions of Sarai, Kate and Nicole. Sarai, in her first ever game, took the position of Goal Keeper (GK) and showcased exceptional blocking abilities that significantly hindered the opposition's scoring opportunities. Together, the girls created a strong defensive line that proved crucial in the team's overall performance.

Congratulations are in order for the U16 netball team for securing third position overall. Their journey has been one of growth, determination, and teamwork, setting a good example for the entire school. Well done, girls! you have made us all proud!
