U11 boys Football Festival, Kivukoni
20th June 2025
The boys took part with real determination and pride. We were in a group of 3 teams, so the boys played 2 group games. We played Shree in our first game and managed to put together some good phases of play with short, sharp passing. Shree scored 2 well worked goals, though, with the final score 0-2 to Shree. In our second game, after studying Kivukoni in their game against Shree, we were better prepared and knew who we had to watch out for and how to play against them. We defended well in the first half, and made some promising moves forward with the ball. Towards the end of the game, 2 very good goals came from Kivukoni, who ended up the eventual winners of the tournament. The boys learnt a lot throughout the day by playing in their games,but also through watching other teams play. Well done to the boys who represented BMIS and themselves with great spirit of the game.
