U11 boys CISSA Cricket Tournament

BMIS hosted the cricket tournament this year, as we did last year. They started well, having put a lot of effort and commitment into training with Coach Biko prior to the big day. The standard was much higher than last year, and BMIS found some challenges with this. However, a very close game against an extremely strong Shree team (eventual winners) was their best game, demonstrating consistency with their batting and fielding. Against Kivukoni, the boys performed exceptionally well, winning the game convincingly. In their last game, BMIS batted the best they had done all day, but unfortunately, their fielding was off, and runs were given away lightly. Nevertheless, the U11 BMIS team represented the school with great pride, showing off the new BMIS kit, and pouring every ounce of effort into each game. Well done to each and every team member, not only for the days’ performance, but for the extra hard work and commitment in the run up to the tournament.
