I was at first nervous about going but, soon I got through it and realised that you just need to practise French to pass it. I was worried about the writing paper but it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would have been, the listening was not so hard at all; you just need to listen for the correct words and write them down on the paper. For speaking I was given papers with a French word to use as a question to the examiner, then there would be a role-play, for example buying something at a shop.
Reading comprehension requires very good reading, which I think I have.
The answers are just in the text provided, every single question was in French in all of the papers.
Peter year 7
I am pleased to inform you that we have participated in all the DELF examination sessions this academic year! It is a great achievement for Braeburn Mombasa and its students.
The DELF Junior examination took place last weekend and successfully concluded our vigorous revision lessons, marking an important milestone. Congratulations to Peter in Year 7 for sitting the DELF Junior examination, level A1.
Throughout this academic year, students from various backgrounds and levels of proficiency took part in these examinations, aiming to demonstrate their language skills and gain valuable certifications. During the examination process, participants were evaluated on various language competencies, such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The examinations were carefully designed to assess both practical language usage and theoretical understanding, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of each candidate's language proficiency.
Well done to all the students who attempted the DELF Prim and DELF Junior examinations, your certificates are valid for life!
