Year 2 came dressed as Neolithic boys and girls on Monday (a big thank you to parents and carers for helping with this) and immersed themselves in Stone Age activities, including looking at mark making in the famous Altamera caves in Spain and trying to understand this primitive form of maths. We also did some fruit stewing and they had a go at making Stone Age pots too. The best part however was the fact that the children were able to talk about what they have learned so far about this significant period in History. The children had created some Stone Age animals collages the week before - enjoy having a look
