14th November 2025
Some of our Year 3 and 4 children gathered on Saturday, 8th November, for a fun-filled morning of football and swimming against Kivukoni. Kivukoni brought along three teams; the Whales, Leopards, and Sonics, giving BMIS plenty of exciting matches!
During the football games, BMIS showed fantastic teamwork, linking up well in attack and working hard to get back and support their goalkeeper in defence. There were also some brilliant individual performances from Mohamed, Ishaan, and Kizito, who demonstrated great skill and determination on the field.
After football, the children quickly changed for the swimming competition. Each participant took part in at least two events, giving their all and showcasing impressive technique and effort in the pool.
By the end of the day, we had a group of very happy (and tired!) children who represented their schools with pride, enthusiasm, and sporting spirit. Well done to everyone who took part!

This week, we hosted our Inter House competitions for cricket and football. Both events showcased each house fighting hard for valuable points. The engagement, enthusiasm, and commitment demonstrated by every student were truly inspiring.
When each House comes together for a shared purpose, the impact on team spirit and camaraderie is great to see. These competitions not only highlight athletic ability, but also strengthen unity, pride, and a sense of belonging within our school community.
