Secondary Music - In Tune and On Track: Year 10 Practical Music Journey

7th June 2025

This term, our Year 10 music students have been diving deep into the practical side of their coursework. With performance and musicianship at the forefront, students have been refining their technical skills, exploring a range of genres, and preparing pieces that showcase their individual talents.

From instrumentalists to vocalists, everyone is honing their craft with a clear focus on expression, accuracy, and confidence. Whether it is rehearsing solo material, collaborating in small groups, or taking part in peer feedback sessions, our students are developing their performance fluency and growing in musical maturity.

A standout moment this term came from Reana, who delivered a heartfelt vocal performance that truly captured the attention of the class. Her tone, control, and stage presence are a testament to the hard work she has been putting into her singing.

We are proud of how each student is progressing and embracing the challenges of live performance. Stay tuned, there are some exciting showcases on the horizon!
