Secondary History

15th September 2023

It has been a busy week for historians.

On Monday we celebrated Black History as part of Respect Day.

America recently commemorated the 60th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s historic ‘I have a Dream’ speech.

Year 8 students, in front of our display, are studying the African Peoples of the Americas this term.

Year 7 meanwhile, are learning about Ancient Rome. This week we have been looking into the Roman Army and with the help of Mr Moyse the students practised the skill of throwing javelins.
