Professional Development - Leading Learning from the Middle

20th February 2018

Dozens of Braeburn's middle leaders enjoyed 4 days of professional development with a COBIS course hosted by Braeburn School in Nairobi. Judging from the feedback, it was a great success and time well spent.

Every teacher, never mind middle manager should do this course! Karen, your style of facilitation is superb – inclusive, encouraging, inspiring, your resources are brilliantly organised and you know your ‘stuff’ inside out. Immediately I bought in to your message and aims of the course. I will be a better leader but more importantly, I’ll be a better ‘me’ and a better teacher. Thank you so much’ Tracey Russell, Braeburn International School, Kenya

‘This programme is a gel to bond theory and practice, stimulating creativity to be able to deal with emerging issues not mentioned or yet experienced but are likely to be met. I feel more empowered’ Asher Sijenyi, Braeburn International School, Tanzania

‘I liked that all ideas on the programme are backed up with evidence. You really reflect on your own leading and teaching and can see exactly where you want to make changes’ Amy Hyland, Braeburn International School, Kenya

‘I now know that leadership excites me – its empowering to think of endless possibilities that good leadership can bring’. The programme is motivating, informative and very clear.’ Naomi Rubie, Bingham Academy, Ethiopia

‘A wonderful and inspiring course…you WILL absolutely come away with new knowledge, skills and understanding that will not only make you a better leader but an excellent classroom practitioner’ Jennie Douras, Braeburn International School, Kenya
