Primary English showcase

8th November 2024

Recently, our Primary School children shared a ‘discovery’ that was made when the Year 1 children found a hidden compartment in an old trunk in their classroom. They found seashells, porcupine quills, old metal toys, old photos and a diary dating from Mombasa in the early 1950s. Unfortunately the diary was mouldy and much of it illegible due to water damaged, so our Year 1 to Year 6 children had to finish the last diary entry, written by a boy who found a massive shell on the beach.
