Origami is the art of folding paper into decorative shapes and figures. The students have learnt and enjoyed making a fish, fox, tulip flower, fish and boat.
We explored different fun games in our activity this term. They include hula hooping, hide and seek, tag and many others.
The children enjoyed every moment of it!

Sing, dance, draw, express yourself!
This club is all about freedom, expression and joy. We sing along to brilliant, uplifting songs (many of them chosen by the children themselves), dance when we feel the urge, and enjoy colouring and drawing whatever we feel like drawing and colouring.
We love Thursday afternoons!

This term, upper key stage 2 boys took up the extra hockey sessions on Monday evenings and enjoyed the competitiveness it comes with. Great skills and tactics of hockey have been displayed by all the students involved and it was always a fun-filled session. Good teamwork and sportsmanship have also been evident throughout the activity and the students always put their best foot forward to achieve more.
Well done boys!
Ms Barasa
Diamond cricket this term has been very popular with the boys in Key Stage 2!
This fun-filled after school Monday activity on the field has kept us continuously engaged and constantly moving! We have improved on our batting, fielding and we have displayed some amazing teamwork, encouraging and supporting our peers.
And, because we are always up for a challenge, we are now working towards scoring 4s and 6s! So far, only one of us has made it! We are so excited to keep trying! There’s still some time left for the rest of us to have our shining moment.
Mrs. Pasta
After spending the first half of the term in the cricket nets focussing on skills training, we are now putting our skills to good use in a series of cricket matches. We have played French cricket, Continuous cricket, T-ball and even T20 cricket.
Mr Buckley
We have been having a wonderful time playing board games this term.
We started off by playing board games we were all familiar with for instance chess, connect 4 and the ever popular jenga. We then did a show and tell where everyone had a chance to share their favourite new board games with the other members and a lot of great recommendations came from this. We also played online board games for instance online chess, tic tac toe and some card games like junior uno.
We are having a blast recreating pictures of our chosen animal using traditional Maori patterns, based on work by Warren Pohatu. We began by fine-tuning our sketching skills when creating our drafts, then created an ombre finish for our final background, followed by a second sketch on our best piece and then using different mediums to create our final work. We can't wait to showcase our final pieces of art! Have a look at some of our pictures so far.

The children have enjoyed a range of stories and art in Story Art activity. They have listened to some “Don’t let the Pigeon” stories and painted the pigeon. Enjoy our art from these stories. We listened to some monster stories and created our own monsters. The children had a chance to paint their favourite scenes or characters from stories. They have created city scene after listening to “Tar Beach.’’ They have begun their last multimedia art piece after reading “What the Ladybird Heard on Holiday.’’ It has been a great Monday afternoon activity with reading and art.
