This term, our Primary learners have shown great enthusiasm and determination in their Maths lessons, giving their best effort in every session. Across the school, children have been exploring key mathematical concepts including place value, addition, subtraction, and multiplication, while also strengthening their problem-solving and reasoning skills through hands-on activities and games.
Pupils particularly enjoy discovering new ideas through interactive learning in their maths corners, using practical resources and real-life examples to deepen their understanding. From building confidence with number bonds and simple sums in the Early Years to mastering written methods and multiplication strategies in the upper years, it has been inspiring to see the clear progression of mathematical learning throughout the school.
As we look ahead, our learners are eagerly preparing for the upcoming BMIS Maths Challenge, having completed their pre-selection tests. We can’t wait to see their mathematical thinking, teamwork, and enthusiasm shine during this exciting event!
