Animals are said to be humans’ closest friends. Everyone depends on them in one way or the other; for security and food. Every animal in the world needs to be taken care of by providing them food, shelter, and veterinary care. The behaviour of most domestic animals is mainly observed by how we treat them. If we treat them with good care, love and compassion, they will definitely show the same love and respect toward us.
I am pleased to introduce to you this exciting art competition run by our sister school Braeburn Garden Estate, to raise money for charity - the KSPCA (Kenya Service for the Protection & Care of Animals). It is also an opportunity to show your love and care for pets and animals at large.
Your entry can take the form of a sketch, a painting, a collage, a model or otherwise create an image of an animal or pet that means something to you and tell us why it is significant.
You are encouraged to do the work from home.
Prizes are available for the following categories: -
Under 5
5-10
10-16
16-19
The closing date is Friday 2nd December 2022, and all proceeds are going towards renovating the KSPCA in Karen, Nairobi.
To enter the contest, simply bring in your artwork and entry fee (Mpesa receipt of 200/-) to Ms Onyango (Secondary) or Mr Kamana (Primary).
I am encouraging all of you to participate.
