Key Stage 4 News

13th January 2023

It is fantastic to welcome our students back to School for Term 2 and as we begin the year it has been nice to see them settle quickly into the term. This is a very important time of the year as Key stage 4 students in Year 11 are about to embark on one of their most significant and crucial experiences this academic year, the Mock examinations.

Mock Exams are good stepping stones as they provide students an opportunity to touch up on topics they are unsure of and they get the chance to get an overview of their current grades as they embark on their final term in school. I am sure the students are looking forward to putting to test what they have learned over the past years as most examinations are based on knowledge learned over the years spent in High School.

As a matter of course, we review all student results and provide support or advice if needed as they continue and complete their course content in preparation for the final IGCSE examinations.

We wish all students sitting this crucial examination the best of luck.

Meanwhile, it has been great hearing students share the goals they have set for their learning for Term 2 as goal setting is a good way to keep things on track. The Year 10 students have been steadily working through the IGCSE syllabus in various subjects. It is important for them too to keep on track and prepare for the big changes that the last two years of schooling bring.
