Welcome back, everyone!
As we embark on the last term of the academic year, we are looking forward to an exciting term with a range of activities.
The final IGCSE and AS-level examinations have kicked off, and our dedicated candidates are currently on study leave, diligently preparing for their examinations. While some are opting to study from home, many are utilising our school library as a quiet haven for focused learning. We are proud of their commitment and wish them the best of luck as they navigate through this challenging period.
Field Trips and Community Engagement
Meanwhile, Year 10 students are gearing up for a Business and Geography Field Trip to the South Coast and the Coca-Cola Factory. These hands-on experiences outside the classroom foster a deeper understanding of real-world concepts and environments. Additionally, we have community events lined up, including the eagerly awaited Braeburns Got Talent showcase and International Day celebrations where culture speaks its own language. These events provide platforms for our diverse community to come together, celebrate culture, and showcase their talents.
Exploring Higher Education
Our Year 12 AS and BTEC students recently had the invaluable opportunity to engage with a team of Marketers from the Swiss International group and Ontario Tech University. They provided insight into the exciting higher education opportunities available at their institution in Switzerland. The talk, delivered by career consultants, was truly inspirational, igniting aspirations in our students to pursue further education abroad. Previously, a member of the Alumni joined the institution to pursue a degree course in the field of Hospitality and we anticipate seeing some of our current students embark on this journey in the near future.
