FS2 News

30th September 2022

The busy bees of FS2 have had a great start to their new year group. They have been learning about families, babies and minibeasts. They have painted great self-portraits, drawn family portraits, been on minibeast hunts and painted observational paintings of minibeast.

This term, they are learning to be more independent and responsible for themselves. They have jobs that they do every morning and afternoon: getting out their drink bottle and folder and returning them at the end of the day. Each child is responsible for getting their snack, choosing when they want to eat their snack and returning their snack box into their bag. Each day we have different children who are line leaders and lunch monitors, as well as those who feed the pets and water the garden. They enjoy their jobs. It is an important part of development for children to learn how to take care of themselves and to help with their family at home and at school.

Keep up the amazing work FS2!
