25th April 2025

Welcome back to a brand new term in Early Years! The children have returned full of energy and curiosity, ready for new adventures—and we’ve got just the journey planned!

This first half term, we’re setting off on an exciting adventure around the world. Through play and lessons, the children will be discovering the many cultures and countries that make up our vibrant classroom community. From music and clothing to art and special places, the children will have plenty of opportunities to explore, create, and learn about their own and others cultures.

We look forward to seeing where our curious children lead us to with the topics that follow—it’s always a joy to learn alongside them!

We’re also thrilled to announce that preparations are underway for our very special EYFS production: Blazzie Explores the World! We look forward to showing everyone the hard work, creativity, musical and acting talents of our little one in Week 5, Wednesday 21st May at 11:00am.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to share that EYFS Sports Day will take place after the half term. It’s a fantastic opportunity for the children to move, play, and celebrate their physical development with their friends and families.

For our families in FS2, we will also begin preparing both children and parents for the important transition to Year 1. A parent meeting will be held in Week 9, Thursday 19th June at 8:00am to share more about the process, answer questions, and ensure a smooth and positive next step in your child’s learning journey.

We look forward to an exciting term 3. Remember our doors are always open to answer any questions and to talk about our youngest children at BMIS.
