EYFS News

24th January 2025

The Early Years children have had a fantastic start to term. They have welcomed new children into their classes with smiles. The children have enjoyed a range of play activities including making bug houses, cooking in the mud kitchen, riding bikes and painting outside.

The Pre-Crèche and Crèche class started the term learning about construction. They have been playing with different vehicles. They have enjoyed some ‘Squiggle Whilst You Wiggle’ activities in class.

FS1 have been learning all about themselves. They have shared photos of their families and talked about their houses.

Trees were the beginning topic in FS2. The children learnt about the parts of trees and why trees are important. They created some amazing art work too.

This term in Early Years we are learning how to be healthy and look after ourselves. All children have begun to learn about healthy eating.

We are looking forward to an exciting term 2.
