Exciting Visit from the County Fire Engine and St John’s Ambulance

14th March 2026

We had a very exciting and memorable learning experience when the County Fire Engine and St John’s Ambulance team visited our school. The children were thrilled to see a real fire engine and ambulance up close and learn about the important work these community helpers do.

The firefighters and first aid team shared how they help keep people safe. The children especially loved the hands-on activities, where they got to spray water at pretend fire targets just like real firefighters. One of the biggest highlights was climbing up the fire engine ladder, which the children found both exciting and adventurous.

It was a wonderful experiential learning opportunity, allowing the children to explore, ask questions, and understand how people who help us work to keep our community safe. The excitement and smiles on their faces made it a truly unforgettable experience
