EAMUN '25 was an unforgettable experience! I had the privilege of participating as a delegate in the Security Council, where I represented the United States of America. One of the highlights of the conference was reading a resolution for my team during the surprise crisis debate – a challenging yet exhilarating moment that helped me step out of my comfort zone and sharpen my public speaking skills.

Our one-week stay at our sister schools in Nairobi, BGE and BGR, was equally amazing. I had the chance to reconnect with close friends, and the overall environment was welcoming and vibrant. I learned so much from the discussions and enjoyed networking with like-minded individuals,

Next year will mark my final EAMUN conference as I transition to the next chapter of my academic journey after high school. I’m already looking forward to returning and making the most of what promises to be another incredible experience!

My experience was very eye-opening and interactive. I got the chance to socialise with my schoolmates from different year groups and also networked with students from other countries and schools at the UN conference.

The first day was tough and as prepared my resolutions I knew I had to work hard to earn a speaking opportunity at the conference . Eventually I got the chance to speak and presented my views as the ambassador representing Azerbaijan .

After the Conference held at the UN offices , we went back to our residence at Braeburn Garden Estate was great . We had fun and engaged in various interesting activities that had been organised every afternoon .

Walking into the lively MUN conference in Nairobi, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves. Delegates from different schools, dressed in formal attire, engaged in passionate debates. Representing Azerbaijan, I found myself in a heated discussion about climate change. At first, I struggled to get my point across, but after a fiery rebuttal, I gained confidence. The adrenaline rush of diplomacy, strategic alliances, and unexpected challenges made the experience unforgettable.

By the end of the conference , I had not only improved my public speaking skills but also made friends from around the world. Nairobi’s MUN was more than just a conference—it was a thrilling adventure in diplomacy!

MUN 2025 was undoubtedly one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had. As a delegate at the Special Summit, I had the opportunity to participate in some of the most engaging and heated debates throughout the conference. The discussions were both thought-provoking and intense, providing me with invaluable skills in diplomacy and critical thinking.

Beyond the debates, I made many new friends and strengthened my bond with schoolmates, becoming much closer with them over the course of the event. Our stay at BGR and BGE was equally memorable—so much happened during our time there that I will cherish these moments for years to come.

The fun, learning, and experiences I gained from this trip will stay with me forever. A big thank you to BMIS for making the Nairobi Conference possible, and to Ms. Mkok and Ms. Simon for being such fantastic chaperones throughout the entire journey.

I’m incredibly grateful for this experience and can’t wait for the next one!

The EAMUN experience was very fun for me. At the conference this year, I purposed to participate and interact with other delegates as much as possible people. Indeed I was more active and my role as an ambassador gave me the opportunity to widen my network l.

I enjoyed this year’s conference so much more and I am fairly satisfied with how involved I was in the debates as well.

Gaining Confidence Through MUN in Nairobi

Attending the MUN conference in Nairobi was a transformative experience. At first, the thought of speaking in front of a room full of confident delegates was intimidating. However, as the debates unfolded, I found my voice. Representing my country, I learned to think on my feet, defend my stance, and negotiate with diplomacy. Each speech, each challenge, and each alliance built my confidence. By the end of the conference, I no longer hesitated to raise my placard or challenge opposing views. MUN was more than a debate—it was a lesson in self-assurance, critical thinking, and the power of experience.
