COBIS Poetry Competition

Primary students have been busy completing their poems for the COBIS poetry competition. This year’s theme is: ‘Through Another’s Eyes’. Each class voted for their top 3 favourites and the BMIS Primary winners are in! The writing standard is really impressive, with original ideas and ambitious use of vocabulary. FS2 children have begun learning phonics. They are now able to recognise the sounds they have learnt and name words that begin with those sounds. They are also making great efforts to write the sounds.
