CISSA Junior Swimming Gala

11th October 2024

On Saturday 28th September lots of keen swimmers descended on Oshwal Academy to participate in the CISSA Junior Swimming Gala. Everyone was ready and keen to get in the pool (even those who had slept over at school the night before!) After a thorough warm up, pupils were given a positive team talk by Mrs Welch. Each and every pupil tried their best and participated with great determination. As we know, if we perform to the best level that we are at right now, this is all anyone can ask. Mr Mazazi and Mrs Welch set a goal of pupils trying to beat their times and really think about their technique as they raced. As a result, the BMIS team managed to come away with some confident swimmers that had worked hard and put everything into their events.

Congratulations to everyone in the BMIS team for a great day, and to those who earned medals:

Thank you to Mr Mazazi for organising the team and to the parents for giving BMIS great support throughout the day!
