Catering Update

On Tuesday, our catering team very kindly prepared two different fish dishes for our student council members to taste. This initiative stemmed from the students’ feedback on the fish pie that we have on our school menu. Students were not too keen on it and asked their student council representative to pass on that view to the school that looked for possible alternatives. Eddie, our Head of Catering, and his team, prepared an improved fish pie and an alternative option of fish cakes for the student council members to try. Whilst secondary students finished their helpings of both dishes, they preferred the fish cakes. Primary students were unanimous from the first mouthful and also voted for the fish cakes.

Thanks to our strong and sensible students’ voice, note that fish cakes will now appear on our menu on day 23.
