Braeburn Swim Club Swimmers Shine at Kenya Aquatics National Championship

The weekend of May 18-19 was an eventful one for our BMIS swimmers, as they participated in the Kenya Aquatics National Swimming Championship held at Mpesa Foundation Academy in Kiambu County. Three of our talented athletes—Matis, Ernest, and Denis—represented our school with exceptional performances, achieving personal best times in their respective strokes.

Matis showcased his prowess in the freestyle events, delivering powerful and precise strokes that earned him impressive finishes. His dedication to training and technique was evident as he cut through the water with remarkable speed, setting new personal records.

Ernest demonstrated his strength and skill in butterfly, breaststroke and freestyle events. His smooth, controlled movements and strategic pacing allowed him to outshine many competitors. Ernest's commitment to refining his stroke technique paid off as he achieved his best times yet, reflecting his hard work and determination.

Denis excelled in breaststroke, a stroke that requires both strength and finesse. His disciplined approach and meticulous attention to form were clear as he glided through the water, clocking personal best times. Denis' performance was a testament to his perseverance and dedication to the sport.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Matis, Ernest, and Denis for their outstanding achievements at the championship. Their success contributed to Braeburn Swim Club attaining an overall first position. These young athletes have not only showcased their talents but also highlighted the spirit of sportsmanship and dedication that BMIS fosters.
