On Tuesday 5th March, we hosted the first BMIS Inter-schools Maths Challenge. Featuring Mombasa Academy, Aga Khan Academy, Oshwal Academy and Braeburn Mombasa, the event was a resounding success showcasing remarkable mathematical talent and collaboration.
The event, judged by Maths teachers from each of the 4 participating schools, included 3 scored challenges - Problem Solving, Puzzling and Times Tables - and 1 non-scoring event - Tangrams.
Braeburn Mombasa's Primary mathematicians made us proud, securing impressive standings:
U8 - Erin and Adam - equal 2nd
U9 - Veer and Ishmeer - 2nd
U10 - Dev and Alvin - 1st
U11 - Vyan and Aaryan - 1st
Overall, Braeburn Mombasa finished the Primary event with the highest number of points:

The BMIS Inter-schools Maths Challenge was a celebration of academic excellence and unity among the participating schools and we look forward to it being an annual event in Mombasa!
