Year 8 Geographers explore the living conditions in Brasilian favelas

8th March 2024

In our Geography class, Year 8 students have been exploring Favelas in Brazil. We have delved into the origins of these communities, their defining characteristics, and the challenges faced by residents.

Recently, students created posters highlighting the protests of Favela residents, focusing on ways to improve their quality of life. It has been an insightful journey, shedding light on important global issues and inspiring empathy and action.
