Year 6 Residential to Sagana

28th June 2024

In Week 8, the whole of Year 6, along with wonderful Ms. Nelly, journeyed to Sagana for our end-of-Primary residential trip. We spent an adventurous week with Savage Wilderness, out in the wilds of Sagana, doing things like white-water rafting, zip-lining, rock-climbing and archery, to name but a few. We had a fantastic time! BEST TRIP, EVER!

Here is what the children had to say:

Aaryan: Sagana was amazing! I had so much fun and it really was such an unforgettable experience! The top 3 things I would do again would be archery(3), Ziplining(2), and definitely the White Water Rafting(1). That was a trip I'll never forget.

Vyan: Sagana, for me, was the BEST trip I have ever gone to during my time at Braeburn Mombasa. It was super fun and had MANY fun activities to do. I highly recommend the trip to anyone. It was super fun and I enjoyed it.

Lloyd: I really enjoyed the trip since I was able to conquer my fear of heights and ziplining. All the activities were enjoyable. My three favourite activities were archery(3) SUP(2)

and white water rafting (1). I would recommend this trip, ten out of ten- I would do it again.

Sean: I really loved the trip. It was fun and adventurous. I saw stunning rapids and an amazing waterfall. We faced challenges like swimming in cold🥶 water and Lloyd also overcame his fear of Ziplining and the bridge. It was a fun experience and it is something I would do again.

Rens:I loved Sagana! The best part was the wild water rafting and swimming in the freezing water and trying to push Lloyd into the water and Ayden bending his paddle. I would do it again.

Alice: Sagana was FANTASTIC! It was super fun, especially the white water rafting. When I jumped into the water, it was super cold but refreshing. Zip lining was super fun and during rock climbing, I climbed to the top of the 15m wall- twice!! I really loved and enjoyed this trip. If I had the opportunity to go again, I would.

Fatema: I loved the trip- it was so fun! I hope to come back again with my family. My favourite parts of the trip were white water rafting , duckies , zip lining; they really stood out for me. I loved it a lot.

A huge “Well done!” to our brilliant Year 6 class of 2024. We will miss you so much when you leave us for Year 7. We wish you lots of love and success in your next, exciting chapter.

Miss Russell
