Year 6 Computing - Smartphones

This Term, Year 6 are learning all about smartphone technology. What’s in a Smartphone? and why do they have an edge over your average laptop. Smartphones are small and portable devices that are packed full of technology. These pocket sized processing powerhouses contain sensors such as gyroscopes and accelerometers, GPS systems, touchscreens, microphones, bluetooth, wifi and much more,

Later this term we will be using our coding skills to create programs for Android phones and tablets. Here is some display created by the Year 6 inspired by our discussions on the potential of Smartphone
