Year 6 and 7 Science

Year 6 children had a treat this week when they got to join Year 7s during their science lesson on Wednesday afternoon. Ms Okech ordered plenty of goat hearts and lungs so that we could see what they really look like, handle them and dissect them. The children loved it! The best part was when each pair was given a long tube which we placed into the tube that leads to the lungs- and then we blew into it! The lungs expanded which amazed us all and allowed us to see exactly how the lungs function when we breathe in.
