Year 4 News

2nd February 2024

The Year 4 class has had a fantastic start to the year, with all students diligently applying themselves to their academic studies and participating enthusiastically in extracurricular activities. Many students have showcased their resilience and hard work by taking part in competitions and tournaments, such as chess and swimming.

In our classroom, we have recently concluded an engaging topic on multiplication and division, and we are now gearing up to explore Length and Perimeter. In English, we have focused on enhancing our recount writing skills, emphasising the importance of detail and creating an engaging narrative for the reader.

Our science lessons have centered around the theme of Electricity, and in history, we delved into the intriguing world of Ancient Egyptians. The term's project will revolve around both of these captivating topics.

Moreover, Year 4 and Year 3 students are putting forth considerable effort in preparing for the production of 'Óink! A Pig of a Tale', scheduled for Week 8 this term. We extend this early invitation to all, welcoming you to join us for this upcoming performance.
