Year 4 Music Update: Ensemble Adventures!

28th September 2024

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to share the progress of our Year 4 students in their music learning journey! Following their fantastic performances at Braeburn's Got Talent last term, our young musicians are now diving into ensemble work, honing their skills, and preparing for their upcoming showcase.

In our ensemble sessions, students are learning the importance of teamwork and collaboration. They are discovering how to listen to each other, blend their sounds, and create harmonies that elevate their music. Through fun activities and engaging rehearsals, they are building confidence in their performance abilities while exploring a variety of musical styles.

As we move forward, our focus will be on improving key performance skills. Students will practice stage presence, expression, and communication, ensuring that their next performance is not just technically sound but also emotionally engaging. We encourage everyone to support our budding musicians as they embrace these challenges and celebrate their growth.

Musically yours,

Miss Kihuha
