It's been an exciting time in the Year 3 class as our budding scientists; storytellers and problem-solvers have been diving deep into their studies. Let's take a peek into all the wonderful activities and discoveries our students have been making!

Science Exploration:

Our students have been on a captivating journey focusing on the fascinating realm of plants. From the moment a seed begins its journey to the complex process of pollination, our curious learners have been fully engaged. Through hands-on experiments, they've delved into the secrets of water transportation in flowering plants and explored the resilience of plants under varying conditions.

English Adventures:

Our students have been sharpening their storytelling abilities and communication skills. Through their English lessons, they've embarked on an exciting journey into the art of recounts, mastering the skill of retelling past events with precision and detail. As part of this exploration, they immersed themselves in the timeless tale of "Hansel and Gretel," crafting narratives from the perspectives of Hansel and Gretel or the wicked witch. To push their creativity further, some took on the challenge of writing from both perspectives, showcasing their versatility and imaginative prowess.

Mathematical Marvels:

Our students have made remarkable strides in mathematics, particularly in multiplication and division. They've mastered numerous times tables, honed their problem-solving skills through various taught strategies, and enjoyed interactive learning sessions with games like 'Round the World.' Their enthusiasm and dedication have propelled them to tackle mathematical challenges with confidence, showcasing their growing fluency and critical thinking abilities.

Looking Ahead:

Our students are brimming with excitement and confidence as they prepare to showcase their talents in the upcoming production of 'Oink, a Pig of a Tale' in just a week. Their enthusiasm for the stage is palpable, and they can't wait to dazzle you with their performance. Additionally, they're eagerly anticipating their upcoming combined class trip with year 4, which promises to be a memorable and enriching experience.
