We are thrilled to share that our Year 2 students have embarked on an exciting new journey: learning to play the ukulele! This delightful little instrument has already brought a lot of joy and enthusiasm into our music lessons.
The children have been exploring the basics of ukulele playing and have quickly mastered their first two chords, C and A minor (Am), and are now confidently strumming along to some songs.
Learning to play the ukulele is not only fun but also a wonderful way for our students to develop their musical skills, improve their hand-eye coordination, and boost their confidence. As they continue to practice and learn new chords, we look forward to hearing more of their delightful music.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 2 students for their hard work and dedication. Keep up the great work, young musicians! Parents, be prepared to hear some fantastic ukulele tunes at home soon.
Here's a snapshot of our young musicians in action, jamming to "Roar" by Katy Perry. The smiles on their faces and the enthusiasm in their eyes are truly infectious! Rock on, Year 2!
